As a medical tourist destination: Czech Republic

Czechs pride themselves on their medical services and their cosmetic surgeons certainly undergo one of the most demanding training programs in Europe with a minimum of 6 years in addition to their medical degree. Having completed this they are then constantly monitored under the watchful eye of the Czech society of aesthetic plastic surgeons.

Dentists also undergo strict monitoring and a prerequisite for them to be able to practice is to have dental chamber membership.

The Czech Republic medical service has a national hospital accreditation system which is modelled on that from the USA.
